Ascend Credit Solutions collects information you give us directly when you request a consultation, enroll in a credit repair program, or communicate with us by phone, text, or email.

Information you provide

  • Date of birth and Social Security number, where required to obtain your credit reports
  • Government-issued photo identification and proof of address
  • Copies of your consumer credit reports and correspondence from credit bureaus, creditors, and collection agencies
  • Payment method details, collected and stored by our payment processor rather than by us

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, IP address, and pages visited on our website
  • Records of calls, text messages, and emails exchanged with our team

02 How we use information

We use the information we collect to deliver the services you enrolled in and to operate our business. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Obtain and review your consumer credit reports
  • Prepare, send, and track disputes with credit bureaus, creditors, and furnishers on your behalf
  • Send you monthly progress updates on your file
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Meet our obligations under the Credit Repair Organizations Act and other applicable law

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

03 Mobile messaging and consent

We use SMS text messaging to send account notifications, dispute status updates, document requests, appointment reminders, and billing notices to clients who have opted in.

Mobile information sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we obtain your consent

You provide express written consent to receive text messages from Ascend Credit Solutions when you submit a form on our website, complete our enrollment or onboarding paperwork, or text our business number first. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in section 10.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel your service agreement or stop your billing. To cancel your service, see our contact information below.

04 Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

  • Essential cookies keep the site working. They maintain your session, remember information you have entered into a form, and help protect the site against abuse. The site will not function properly without them.
  • Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
  • Advertising and conversion cookies, where enabled, let us measure whether visitors who arrive from an advertisement go on to request a consultation.

Some of these are set by the third-party platforms that host our website and forms, described in the section on how information is shared.

We do not use cookies to collect your Social Security number, your credit report data, or the contents of your text messages.

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

05 How information is shared

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Credit bureaus, creditors, and furnishers — to submit disputes and correspondence on your behalf, which is the core service you engaged us to perform.
  • Service providers — the vendors that run our customer relationship platform, dispute management software, payment processing, and communications infrastructure. These providers may access information only to perform services for us and are contractually barred from using it for their own purposes.
  • Legal and safety — when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

06 Credit report information

To perform our services we access your consumer credit reports under a permissible purpose established by your written authorization, consistent with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We use that information solely to identify and dispute inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable items on your reports and to report your progress back to you.

You may withdraw your authorization at any time by contacting us in writing, which will end our ability to continue disputing on your behalf.

07 Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, including encrypted transmission, access controls limiting client files to staff who need them, and vetted third-party processors for payment data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain client records for as long as your account is active and afterward for the period required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of records we are not required to retain.

08 Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
  • Deletion — request deletion of personal information we are not legally required to keep.
  • Text messages — reply STOP at any time.
  • Email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Transactional messages about your active account will continue.
  • Cancellation — cancel your service agreement at any time, including within three business days of signing at no charge, as described in our Terms and Conditions.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

09 Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to active clients directly.
